Feeding a raw whole foods diet has never been easier! Raw Advantage™ takes the guesswork out of feeding because it is a completely balanced diet rich in essential fatty acids, enzymes, vitamins and minerals. You should cold thaw the product in the refrigerator overnight or 20 minutes in warm water to defrost. Do not microwave the product because that will lower the nutrient levels. The diet was designed to be rotated with 3 or 4 different meat proteins on a weekly basis. Be creative and remember that you are the best formulator for your pet’s diet. When feeding a 100% raw whole foods diet, we suggest either one half- day or full day fast on a Sunday. See chart below. Chart suggestions based on an average 50lb dog

Your pet is no different from you when it comes to the relationship of a high quality varied diet and its impact on optimum health, performance and longevity. A diet of human grade and USDA certified meats, grains, vegetables and herbs insure that no unwanted by-products, antibiotics, hormones and toxins are introduced into your pet’s diet. Raw foods help your pet maintain a healthy pH balance and enzyme level in their stomach and digestive tract. E. coli and salmonella which are found on some raw meats does not pose a problem for our pets because their intestinal tract is much shorter than the human one and was designed to handle raw food and certain bacteria. Raw meats properly prepared and minimally processed are high in Essential Fatty Acids. These fatty acids are attained in the wild naturally from the carcasses of prey animals. Along with Essential Fatty Acids, live enzymes, phytochemicals, antioxidants and friendly bacteria are found in a readily absorbable form in raw meats and predigested grains and vegetable materials. Minerals are scientifically found in abundance and in nature’s own ratio in the uncooked bones of animals. Not only does giving your dog a bone make them happy; it may well be the best thing you can do to provide for their nutritional well being. |

Raw Advantage™ as a supplement to kibble adds superior nutrients that are missing from processed diets. We recommend feeding ¼ lb. a day per 50 lbs. of body weight of raw product in replacement for at least ½ cup kibble. Although, this would be far more beneficial for your pet than feeding only kibble, it will not yield the optimum results achieved from a total raw organic diet. See charts below: Approximate amount per month supplementing with RAW ADVANTAGE™

This would work well as a plan for weight loss and is an economic way to offer your pet a raw diet for optimum health. For many animals a 50/50 diet will provide very satisfactory results when treating skin allergies, digestive disorders and to improve overall health. However, it is our experience that nothing approaches the results achieved when you feed a 100% raw organic diet. See 50/50 feeding chart below. Approximate amount per month using Raw Advantage™ as 50% diet

TransitioningA slow introduction to raw product adding Enzymes and/or Acidophilus for the first two weeks is highly recommended. Thaw raw product in refrigerator overnight and feed. A Raw Diet is best fed at room temperature. Never microwave! The live enzymes are damaged and bones will harden within 30 seconds of microwave heat. Leftovers can be stored in the refrigerator for three to five days. For DOGSUse tablespoons for dogs over 50 lbs and teaspoons for dogs under 50 lbs.1. Add 1 TBSP/TSP to each normal feeding for first 3-5 days. 2. Increase to 2 TBSP/TSP and decrease amount of normal food by 1/4 to 1/2 for the next 3 days. 3. Then 3 TBSP/TSP and replace at least 1/2 the normal diet for at least 3 days. This is the final stage for small dogs and cats. 4. Final stage, replace one meal entirely for at least 5 days. For CATSUse tablespoons for dogs over 50 lbs and teaspoons for dogs under 50 lbs.1. Use the same guidelines as for Dogs only use TSP instead of TBSP. 2. Repeat steps 1-3 above. 3. Cats are sometimes more of a challenge to transition to raw food, but the results are seen much quicker. Note: A young animal under 3 months of age, can be transitioned more rapidly, because their natural digestive system is still fully available (1 week for full transition). With an older animal the longest transition period is needed - one full month to get through steps 1-3 may be required. |

Raw, whole bone products added to the diet provide minerals, protein and enzymes "the way nature intended." They are Mother Nature's toothbrush keeping the teeth clean and preventing degenerative gum disease. As your pet chews a bone, he produces saliva, which aids in the digestive process with improved absorption of nutrients. The benefits are fresher breath, smaller stools, better skin and coat and enhanced health and longevity for your pet. Raw bones keep your pet healthy and happy. Cooked bones, which can splinter should never be given to your pet. |
